Newly restored 19th century farmhouse on the edge of the village of Rognonas, just outside Avignon and close to St Remy de Provence. Sleeps 4-10
Self-catered, bed & breakfast or half-board holidays are all available.

The 19th century 'Mas des Grand'Terres' has been completely renovated to accommodate groups from 4 to 10 in number.
You can rent the whole house (4/5 bedrooms) or part of it as an independent apartment (2/3 bedrooms) as a self-catered holiday base. Also, you can add breakfast and/or evening meals either as part of a 'package' or on an ad hoc basis during your stay.
As the house can be let as two separate apartments, it is ideal for two families travelling together - two independent kitchens allowing each to have their own space.
All bedrooms are fully en-suite and all have ample storage with wardrobe and chest of drawers. All beds have pure cotton bedlinen, and the doubles are antique sleigh style beds.
The kitchens are equipped to a high standard with dishwasher, microwave and plenty of white crockery and glasses. One kitchen has an antique school sink and polished concrete worktops, while the other is modern with stainless steel worksurfaces and modern lighting. Both have antique tables and chairs.
In front of the house, there are two shady dining areas, divided by trees and an fountain, each with its own barbecue.
There are two decks by the pool with ample loungers and umbrellas and plenty of space on our land to head off with a deckchair and find a quiet corner to read - and plenty of space for the kids to run off their energy. We have a supply of boules, bats and balls etc to keep families happy. We also have table tennis, table football and wifi internet access.
Mas des Grand' Terres provides and ideal base for touring, for walkers and for cyclists as well as those who are looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun. We are just a 5 minute walk from the village with bakers, a small supermarkets, butcher, deli, bars and a restaurant.
We are based on site and are discreetly available to provide evening meals, wine tasting and other tours as required. We are also happy to help out with advice about the area and restaurant bookings etc.

Well placed for visiting Avignon, St Remy, Les Baux, Arles and the Camargue. 30 mins from Chateauneuf du Pape and the cotes du rhone villages - we can take you wine tasting, saving you the bother of driving and making sure that you find the best and most friendly vineyards in the area.
Surrounded by a network of narrow shady lanes which are ideal for walkers and cyclists. Ten minutes from the Montagnette and Alpilles hills - craggy and dramatic hills which offer plenty of scope for walks with incredible views.
Tennis, horseriding and canoeing all available nearby. Less than an hour from the Mediterranean. We are on site to help you to make the most of your holiday and to share the pleasure of living in Provence. We look forward to meeting you.

Our guests normally arrive after 4pm and depart by 10am, but we are happy to try to help out if your flight arrives very early or very late.
We are happy to accommodate non-Saturday arrivals and departures.
We ask for a 100 € deposit against breakages on arrival and that you leave the place reasonably clean.
We are also happy to stock the fridge for your arrival - tell us what you want and we'll do the shopping for a small charge. In any event a bottle of wine will be in the fridge to welcome you to Provence. We accept payment by credit card through paypal, or by cheque or bank transfer.
