The property has oil-fired central heating and an open log fire in the lounge. All fuel, bedding and towels are provided free of charge. It has a fully equipped dining kitchen with Rayburn cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The large garden has ample parking and has a 8 person hot tub
Birchbrae is set in the heart of Speyside and surrounded by famous whisky distilleries, castles and historic monuments. It is the ideal base for exploring charming fishing villages, highland towns and villages, or enjoying the great outdoors with excellent walking and cycling trails. Some of Scotland’s finest links golf courses and scenic inland courses are nearby.
The River Spey is only 2 miles away where the best salmon beats are available. Trout fisheries are also nearby. The nearby town of Elgin offers good shopping and entertainment whilst the cities of Aberdeen and Inverness within reasonable traveling distance. The Lecht and Aviemore Ski areas are within an hour’s drive. Horse riding, dolphin watching and country sports are available locally.

The main local attractions are the local whisky distilleries, coastal villages and golf courses. Within a days drive is the battlefield of Culloden and cities of Inverness and Aberdeen.
In winter Aviemore and the Lecht Ski centres are less than an hours drive. There are some great walking and Mountain biking oportunities in the area.
