Villa Yasemin has a peaceful setting, backed by magnificent mountains and pine forests. Relatively undiscovered, the area is stunning with limited development and has therefore lost none of its charm and beauty.It is a 300m / 15 min stroll to the village centre with its traditional square, paved streets, shops and restaurants, many of which are by the water's edge.
Port Gocek, a 15 min walk away, is one of the latest and best equipped marinas in the region providing excellent facilities. This is an excellent place for sailing. The spectacular coastline is dotted with traditional villages and there are many small islands and undiscovered bays within a short sailing distance.
Villa Yasemin is one of a pair of identical villas separated by a large pool - 5.5m x 10.5m and 1,3 - 1.6m in depth. The spacious internal area of each floor (48sqm) includes a large open plan dining / kitchen / living area area with fireplace, one twin and one small double bedroom, shower room with WC.
There is a large area in the basement housing an extra large refrigerator, dishwasher, and laundry facilities. A marble staircase connects each floor. Fragrant white and blue jasmine, roses, honeysuckle, colourful shrubs and hedging together with lemon, orange trees and banana palms create an attractive garden.
The village of Gocek with its traditional square, paved streets, shops and restaurants, many of which are by the water's edge, is a leisurely 15 min stroll away. There are two major banks with exchange facilities, several well stocked mini markets, and an excellent Sunday market with clothes, household items and all kinds of fresh local produce.
The owners of the villa have a 40' yacht available for private skippered charter. Enjoy a hands on sailing experience or just relax! Available on a daily basis or combine a 3 day stay on our yacht with 4 days in the villa. Suitable for up to 4 people.See rental notes for more information.

Real Fire, Central Heating, Maid Service, Air Conditioning, House Linen. Two chairs and a coffee table are provided on the balcony. Extra seating on terrace and living area of ground floor with coffee table.
Dining:
Seating for 8. Balcony apartment has a round table seating up to four in the living area. Large oval table on terrace seats 6 with extra seating available.
Entertainment:
Enjoy the quiet ambience. Catch up with some reading or sip a glass of local wine and dine under the stars. The climate in Turkey enables outside living for several months of the year.

Private Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony. There is a large private pool 5.5m x 10.5m which is shared the two villas. A shower, sunloungers, umbrellas and small tables are provided.

Local activities in and around Gocek, Turquoise Coast/Lycia
Historic and archaeological sites - Tlos, Xanthos etc. Beaches along the Fethiye peninsula - some accessible by boat, taxi or dolmus if you do not have a car. Experience a hammam (Turkish bath) or indulge in a massage. Visit the market town of Fethiye - travel on the local dolmus (minibus). Excellent shopping, weekly clothes and produce market, fish market - buy your fish and have it cooked for you in one of the surrounding restaurants. Twelve Islands of Gocek Bay - a day sail with lunch and swimming on a Turkish gulet. Alternatively a day sail on the owner's 40' yacht - max 6 persons to include lunch with a hands on sailing experience. Cost £150.
Saklikent gorge - enjoy walking along a wooden boardwalk or in the icy cool waters. Eat trout for lunch. Dalyan - rock caves, mud bath and turtles. Drive up into the mountains to experience the beauty of the landscape - there are many paths for walking and local restaurants midst cherry orchards and trout pools. Ruins of the old Greek settlement at Kayakoy - the inspiration for Louis de Bernieres novel " Birds without wings" Dine at Kaya Wine House or at one of the many restaurants where you can barbecue 'at the table'.
Take a 2 day trip to Ephesus, Selcuk and the wine producing village of Sirince. Visit Olimpos and the Chimaera in the East staying at Adrasan on the coast for a couple of days. Take a few days to visit central Cappadocia with its amazing landscape and underground cities. Spend a few days in Istanbul staying in the old city and exploring the sites.
