The property has a large terrace with dining furniture and barbecue, perfect for alfresco dining. The old pine trees in the garden offer welcome shade from the afternoon sun. Villa Delissa is luxuriously equipped including a fitted kitchen with granite worktops, fresh water cooler, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer.
All bedrooms open onto large balconies or terrace where you can sit and relax in privacy. Upper bedrooms are air conditioned with en suite shower rooms. The lounge and dining area seat up to 8 people in comfort. A DVD player, satellite TV with English channels and stereo will keep everyone entertained.
Outside, 8 sunbeds and cushions and parasols are supplied for lazing by the pool. A cleaner will attend twice weekly to clean surfaces and change bed linen.
The gardens are well stocked with apricot, peach, plum, pear fig,lemon and orange trees as well as many flowering shrubs- and two friendly squirrels! Garden and pool lighting magically transform the area at night. During the day, lie back and enjoy the spectacular mountain views. There is also a rotary washing line and private parking space to the side of the property.
The villa is in a quiet area but very conveniently situated for a short dolmus or taxi ride to the attractive little port of Fethiye, or for the night life of Hisaronu. Local supermarkets and bars in Ovacik are within walking distance, as is the water slide park.
Parking for one car at the side of the property. Steps lead down through the terraced garden to the front door. Inside is a large cupboard with ample storage. This floor contains the kitchen, lounge and dining areas which open onto a large terrace overlooking the pool and garden.
Marble staircases lead up to a double and a twin bedroom on the first floor, and downwards to two twin rooms and a large terrace at garden/pool level. The separation of the two floors of bedrooms is particularly ideal for parties of friends or family who wish that extra privacy.

Local activities in and around Ovacik, Turquoise Coast/Lycia
Ovacik sits on a plateau 4 km from the stunning beach of Olu Deniz, famous for it’s white beach, turquoise sea and blue lagoon. The pine covered mountains plunging into turquoise seas make this one of the most stunning locations you’ll ever see.
If you love your food, there are some amazing restaurants. If you like we can advise you on the ones the masses haven't discovered yet!
For the adventurous, a parascending flight from the Babadag mountain down onto the beach at Olu Deniz is a must. There's also a microlight centre close by. Further afield up in the mountains, serious white water rafting is on offer.
Within walking distance are a horse riding centre, and a water park.
The area is rich in ancient history including the ‘ghost town’ at Kaya, and natural beauty including nearby Butterfly Valley and turtle beach. It’s a 15 minute walk to vibrant Hisaronu, packed with bars, restaurants, clubs and market stalls. Teenagers love it too! The locals are extremely friendly and crime is almost unheard of in the area.
Nearby, the port of Fethiye has a wide range of exciting restaurants and shops where you can buy spices, rugs and jewellery at prices much lower than the UK. There’s a beautiful promenade where you can join a gulet sailing boat on a tour around the islands or we can arrange a private boat just for you!
Take a dolmus (minibus) to Hisaronu 5 mins, Olu Deniz 10 mins and Fethiye 10 mins. There is so much to do and see in this area, you'll hopefully be coming back for more !
A number of charter airlines fly to Dalaman including Thomas Cook, Onur Air and First Choice. Turkish Airlines also operate from Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester via Istanbul. (Wonderful stopover)

Rental Notes: A cleaning service is provided twice weekly to change linen and clean surfaces. Towels are provided.
PLEASE NOTE: Changeover day is Monday. Travel from Dalaman airport via taxi. We can arrange transfers if required. Car hire is not essential as there is a frequent and cheap minibus (dolmus) service that runs close to the villa. Car hire can be arranged if required.
