Over looking the large heated pool, this south facing apartment is literally only minutes away from the seafront and small beach at the quieter part of Playa de Las Americas, some ten minutes walk to the centre. Situated around the apartments are restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, shops and boutiques with many bars providing excellent facililities right on the doorstep!
This private complex boasts a huge newly refurbished heated pool with bridge, large sun terrace, childrens pool and pool bar serving hot and cold drinks, ice-creams and snacks. The pool is surrounded by well maintained gardens making this an ideal holiday retreat for both families and couples alike.

The property is a two bedroomed, third floor duplex sleeping up to 6, with commanding views of both the pool and the sea (watch out for the early morning ferry to La Gomera!).
The apartment has a small fully contained kitchen with fitted Ikea units and contains a fridge / ice box, hob, microwave and toaster which looks onto a spacious lounge with traditional Spanish pine furniture. The lounge has a bed-settee, dining area and TV with English cable channels. Doors lead out onto the small south facing balcony which has a patio table and chairs - our favourite spot for lunch.
Opposite the kitchen is the downstairs bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe / drawers and en-suite shower-room with toilet and hand basin.
Upstairs, is the second bedroom with a massive queen size bed and wardrobe / drawers. Off the bedroom is a small walk in wardrobe / closet and an en-suite shower-room, again with toilet, hand-basin and bidet. The upstairs shower-room also has a full size washing machine, great for small (and big) kids.

Local activities in and around Playa de Las Americas, Tenerife
There are now two water parks on your doorstep. Alongside the famous Aqualand Water Park, the big event of the year is the opening of the incredible Saim Park which is due 2008. Described as one of the biggest and best waterparks in Europe (we just can't wait to go!) it boasts 14 major water attractions plus a floating market, a man made beach with the biggest wave machine in Eurooe for the most serious of surfers, a traditional tea-house, beach bars and restaurants. Based around the ancient kingdom of Thailand, the rides are going to be some of the most thrilling you will have experienced - and all at water heated to 25 degrees. The Loro Park continues to attrct visitors from all sides of the island and well worth a visit not just for the parrots but all manner of animals including an impressive snow filled artic area with penguins.
If you love shopping there is something for everyone, from the three upmarket shopping centres with wonderful restaurants (all just a five munite walk away), genuine Designer Label shops to the many smaller shops scattered around of every description. Don't miss the dancing fountains on an evening.
Other attractions include the Sky' Park (bungee?). Jungle Park (Parque del las aguilas - tigers, crocs etc). Crazy Golf.
Tenerife has great golf courses near by which include the Golf de Sur, 27 holes with wide fairways and testing water hazards, Amarillo golf and the Golf Costa Adeje which held the 2003 mens Spanish Open. Pirate ship excursions.
From the port at Los Crostianos you can arrange Fishing / dolphin / whale watching day, half day and two hour cruises at keen prices.
For something different try the nearby Opera and Magicians Restaurant (For 2007 - Esencia de Amor).
For the watersports enthuaists there is plenty to do including, paragliding , diving and good Surfing. Surf School outside complex.
Loro Park
All about the famous Loro Park on the North side of the island.
Opening 2008 - should be one of Tenerife's top attractions and just off the motorway between Las Americas and Los Cristianos. White-knucle water rides and man made beach based in a mystical Thailand setting.
Take the TF1 from the airport, heading towards Playa de las Americas. Taking the Las Americas turning, head toward the coast road - the Avda. Rafael Pugh Lluvina. PSII is opposite the shopping centre.

Rental Notes: Change over days are usually Tuesdays or Fridays, though most days can be accomodated (Sundays by special arrangement only) - please ask.
Deposit of £100 is required to secure apartment which is non-refundable. The full fee is due 8 weeks before departure. We can also provide you with web sites offering flights to Tenerife.
High season is usually classed as Christmas / Easter Mid July and August. The rest is low season including half term holidays. Look out for last minute bargains.
Linen and towels are provided weekly. Further linen and maid service can also be provided for additional charges.
There are luggage storage facilities available at the pool bar until 6.30pm for late flights - 1€ per piece per half day.
Unfortunately, the apartment is unsuitable for those who are infirm as there is no direct lift to the third floor. We thought the view was worth it!
