Crans Montana, midway between Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, is a wonderful resort both in summer and winter. Golfers flock to the world famous courses here and enjoy the clear air and warm sunshine. In the winter the scene is transformed and offers some of the best skiing available anywhere in the country. Skiers of all abilities are welcome whilst the resort also caters for children with tobogganing & smaller slopes.
The area is home to a number of good quality restaurants and cafes, which allow holidaymakers to sample the finest in Swiss cuisine. Attractions close by include the shores of Lake Geneva, Olympic museum in Lausanne and the Château de Chillon at Montreux. A number of chalets and rentals are available in the area. Holiday chalets offer space and comfort and some have garaging and outside storage for ski equipment.
